Tabbatha Koralege
Chief Compliance Officer
Tabbatha brings more than 20 years of experience across quality management, auditing, clinical research, human resources and business administration, built within the healthcare sector. She holds a Diploma of Quality Auditing, alongside further qualifications in higher education studies and business administration and has spent her career learning what genuinely good service looks like from the inside out – not just on paper.
Her background spans:
• Quality Management Systems & Continuous Improvement
• Auditing, Certification & Accreditation
• Clinical Research
• Human Resources & Workforce Compliance
• Business Administration & Operations
• NDIS Practice Standards & Provider Consulting
For the past five years, Tabbatha has worked in the disability sector, first with other providers, before deciding – alongside Amber – to launch iCan Support Solutions. They had seen enough to know they could do it differently, and better.
Tabbatha’s decision to move into disability services wasn’t purely professional. She grew up with a family member with disability, and that lived experience shaped how she sees the sector: not as a system to be managed, but as a promise made to real people, and one that must be kept.
That belief is what drives her focus at iCan. Tabbatha is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and receive the best possible quality of service – and she is equally passionate about the compliance work that sits behind it, unseen by most participants but felt by all of them.
Her view is simple: it isn’t enough to say you’ll do something, you have to actually do it and do it properly. At iCan, everything is checked. Every process, every claim, every promise is tested against what actually happened, not just what was written down.
Auditing, in particular, is where Tabbatha’s passion truly lives. She doesn’t just tolerate it as a necessary part of running a NDIS business – she genuinely enjoys it, and she has used that passion to take iCan’s compliance further than the standard required.
Tabbatha has successfully led organisations through full certification audit cycles, embedding genuine, everyday compliance into how teams operate long before an audit is ever scheduled, and coordinating and leading the teams needed to get there.
It’s this passion that led Tabbatha to help establish iCan’s auditing and consulting arm, extending her expertise beyond iCan’s own walls. She believes every participant deserves a provider operating at the highest standard – not only iCan’s – and that the best way to lift outcomes across the sector is to help other providers get there too.
Through hands-on advice, training and consulting on best-practice standards, Tabbatha works with other organisations to strengthen their compliance and, in turn, the quality of life for the participants they support.
For Tabbatha, quality and compliance is never about box-ticking. They are the mechanism by which good intentions become reliable outcomes – for iCan’s participants, and for participants everywhere.
