A Message from Amber and Tabbatha

Welcome to iCan Support Solutions.

We created iCan because we believe people deserve better.

Not just better services, better systems or better paperwork — better experiences. Between us, we bring extensive professional experience, genuine lived experience of disability, and a deep understanding of how the NDIS works. But what matters most to us is what that experience has taught us: people should never have to fight to feel heard, respected, safe or valued.

We know what it feels like to be on the receiving end of services. We also know what it is like to work within the disability sector and see the difference between providers who genuinely care about people and those who become more focused on processes, targets and profit than the person in front of them. That is not the organisation we want iCan to be.

We would rather do things properly than do things quickly.

We would rather provide quality than chase quantity.

And we will always put people before profit.

For us, doing things the right way isn’t a marketing statement. It is the reason iCan exists. We want every person who comes through our doors — whether you are a participant, family member, support coordinator, clinician, employee or someone simply looking for the right place to start — to feel that they have finally found somewhere different. Somewhere you can ask questions without feeling judged.

Somewhere you can say, “This isn’t working,” and know that someone will listen. Somewhere you are treated as a person, not a number, a funding package or a source of revenue. And somewhere you can feel safe, welcomed, respected and genuinely supported. We also want the people who work with us to feel the same way.

We believe great support starts with great people. Our employees should feel valued, supported and proud of the work they do. They should know that quality matters, that their voice matters, and that they are part of an organisation that genuinely wants to make a difference. We don’t believe we will get everything right every time. But we will always be honest, we will listen, and we will keep trying to do better. Because ultimately, iCan isn’t about building the biggest provider.

It is about building the right provider.
